In (our version of) Forgotten Realms, young goblins are numbered by their parents, and not given a proper name until they reach adulthood – this either happens when they escape from the nursery and perform some significant/impressive act (like stealing a sheep from a village or killing a monster), or it happens by default when they reach eight years of age.
You don’t want the latter – the role int he tribe that you get assigned is based off what act you performed. Did you find something cool in the forest? you’re a forager. Did you kill a monster? you’re a fighter. Did you do nothing? You’re the lowest of the low.
In Konsi’s case, her tribe tried to murder her, and she escaped – long before coming of age. She was given her name by Tymora by vision during her ordainment into the church – Anything I drew before that session refers to her as “Six” and after as “Konsi”
Konsi is (again, in our game) the goblin word for “Guidance”
Why is she sometimes called “Konsi” and sometimes called “Six”?
