Actually, this list hit my notebook so long ago that Shovel Knight wasn’t even released then. I did have a lot of “Dad” games (left for Dad was the one that I shortlisted) – but they’re not particularly evocative to draw…
But indie classics are a good idea. I hadn’t thought of SUPER MAT BOY until just now. or SUPER EAT BOY either… although “the maw” did that game idea pretty well.

Oat Simulator sounds far more fun, somehow, than Goa Simulator. Also, the game about the 90s revelation: The SMS.
What about indie classics like Hovel Knight.
