This is the first time for over a year that I’ve drawn Ocarina Von Harpsichord, I thought about reverting to the old style, but I decided it would be more fun if I tried some detail. I did use the old pictures as a model though.
I quite like the idea of a Demon Lord who really wants the world to take him seriously, but whose minions don’t want the added hassle of being a credible source of evil. I imagine he would spend all of his time making crazy threats, and his minions respond by doing everything they can think of to undermine his ability to intimidate.
Now… if only I could draw four panels without multiple continuity errors, I’d be set!
Imp Ale her ! ^^
Pop quiz! Can you spot the three
deliberateerrors in this strip?Hmm… I notice her left wrist spawning an armband at the last panel, the horns and helmet being shaped somewhat differently between 1 and 3 (could just be a LOD transition thing — even Guilded Age characters “lose facial features” at distance), and small glitch with the text bubble in panel 3. But seriously, don’t be overtly hard on yourself. Although I can’t say that I’ve archive-binged this comic yet, I find it ranging from pretty entertaining to freaking hilarious :)
I hadn’t counted horn shape, that’s just wobbly drawing :)
The third error is that Ocarina’s gloves pull up to th emiddle of the upper arm, then have a folded over part, but her left arm in panel four shows the folded over part below the elbow AND red from the glove covering the upper arm, AND that red part going up higher than it should. :)
