She tends to shave it down the left side, as that’s where the greatsword passes through when she draws it from her back. The polytail is gone as well.
(Sidenote, the mix of her bangs and the ponytail with her hair being black meant that often her hair was a confused mess on the page, especially when facing to the right of panels, this should help with that as well.)
Addis is playing to win, but winning isn’t strictly speaking her goal.
She’s doing this for PR reasons to restore the good name of Tymora in gambling circles.
If Konsi plays sufficiently poorly in the early stages then it will look like Addis is either rigging the game or that Konsi is doing so poorly that Konsi must have been cheating in the previous matches. This would go against Addis’s plans and force her to adjust her strategy to compensate.
